Adlershof Technology Park fit for the future and more resilient to the effects of climate change.
The project places particular emphasis on involving local stakeholders to effectively embed measures within the site and integrate them into longterm planning processes.
The focus is on the systematic further development of key areas of action—such as energy supply, green spaces and open areas, building structures, and quality of life—as well as the design of a “Resilient District” master plan.
As an implementation partner, Creative Climate Cities GmbH (CCC) is supporting WISTA Management GmbH in conducting a site-specific needs assessment and engaging local stakeholders. CCC developed a participatory format and gathered practical knowledge and wishes drawn from users’ everyday lives. The two-day on-site activity highlighted strengths and potential for adapting to climate change impacts and identified initial spatial starting points for measures that would take immediate effect.
In this project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), CCC worked closely with WISTA Management GmbH and the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin), Department of Urban Planning and Urban Renewal.
