The search for innovative solutions for the urban transformation to a Circular Economy

As part of the Circular City Challenge 2023, the cities of Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Vienna, Hamburg, Detmold as well as the municipalities of Zeuthen and Ortenau are searching for innovative solutions in the field of circular economy. Municipal representatives will assist the innovators in adapting their solutions to local needs.

Between August 01, 2023, and October 01, 2023, companies and organizations can apply to become innovators in developing circular economy solutions. On November 23, 2023, the shortlisted initiatives that will have the opportunity to present their concepts to the jury will be announced. We are calling for all innovators working on a circular solution to apply to the Circular City Challenge. Discover the challenges shared by our municipal partners and provide your solutions.

Circular Berlin, Circular Munich, Materialkreislauf, Circonnact, Fab City Hamburg and Creative Climate Cities have called for the Circular City Challenge 2023 to drive the transformation to a sustainable urban system. It is funded by Stuttgart Innovation Fund.
